Hi all,
I’m looking to make or buy some wooden drink coasters, and I’m curious about which types of wood work best. I want something that’s both durable and stylish—ideally with a nice grain that will look great on any table.
Does anyone have recommendations on specific wood types (e.g., oak, walnut, maple) that hold up well over time? I’m also interested in finishes that will protect the wood from moisture while still showcasing its natural beauty.
Any advice or links to handmade options would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
