Do you care about fashion in games as much as in real life?

I’ve noticed that the more I get into fashion in real life, the more I care about how my characters look in games too. I spend way too much time mixing shaders, armor pieces, and ornaments just to get the “perfect” look, even when it doesn’t change my stats at all.

Outside of gaming, I’ve also started buying more secondhand clothing online, hunting for unique pieces instead of just grabbing the same fast‑fashion items everyone else has. It’s funny how similar it feels to chasing a rare armor set or a specific shader in a looter‑shooter – you’re always looking for that one item that makes your style feel complete.

I’m curious how other people here see it:

Do you spend a lot of time on in‑game fashion (armor transmog, skins, shaders, etc.)?

Has your interest in clothes in real life (thrifting, vintage, streetwear, etc.) changed the way you customize characters in games?

Are there any games you think absolutely nail the combination of good loot and good fashion?

Would love to hear if you treat your guardian/character like a “digital version” of your real‑life style, or if you use games to try looks you’d never wear outside the screen.
