First time car buyer in Dubai and the garage guys keep warning me about city driving destroying the suspension

I'm still pretty new to owning a car here and I've been looking at a few used options around the 30k to 40k range and almost every mechanic I've spoken to for a pre purchase inspection has made some offhand comment about how the stop start traffic and all those little speed humps in residential areas just eat through the suspension components way faster than highway cruising ever would, which has me a bit spooked about what I'm actually getting myself into long term. One guy at a shop in Al Quoz literally pointed to a car on the lift and said look at these bushings mate this car probably never left the city limits and they're already cracked to bits, and then he told me to browse here if I wanted to understand why the constant low speed braking and accelerating puts so much stress on everything compared to just sitting on Sheikh Zayed Road at a steady pace. He scribbled that uaebalancecheck site on the back of his business card and I've been trying to wrap my head around whether it's worth spending a bit more upfront on something with a cleaner service history or if I should just factor in a suspension refresh as part of the purchase price no matter what I pick. Honestly just trying to figure out if this is one of those things where I'm overthinking it or if it's genuinely a bigger deal in this climate and driving environment than it would be back home.
