Most automatic coin sorters work using a simple but effective system:
- You pour mixed coins into the hopper (top section).
- The machine feeds coins through a rotating disc or vibration mechanism.
- Coins move through sorting channels based on diameter and thickness.
- Each coin drops into the correct bin for that denomination.
- The machine counts each coin and displays the total amount.
- detect damaged coins
- reject foreign coins
- stop automatically when a bin is full
- print reports
- connect to POS/cash systems
