I’ve had a mole on the face for years — it’s small and sits just above my right cheek. I’ve always been curious about it. Some people say that a mole on the face can have symbolic meaning, like indicating personality traits or even luck, depending on where it’s located. Has anyone else heard of that?
From a medical perspective, I know that any mole, especially a mole on the face that’s exposed to the sun, should be monitored for changes. Mine hasn’t really changed in size or color, but I wonder if I should get it checked by a dermatologist just to be safe.
Also, for those of you who have a visible mole on the face, did you choose to keep it or have it removed for cosmetic reasons? I’m torn between leaving it as part of my identity or considering removal.
