Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a few online applications recently, and performance across different regions has been something I’m paying close attention to. I’ve been reading more about edge computing and how it can bring data processing closer to users, which sounds like a strong advantage for faster response times.
In theory, edge computing helps reduce latency, improves load speeds, and enhances user experience especially for applications like real-time dashboards, video streaming, gaming platforms, and interactive web apps. Instead of relying only on distant data centers, edge computing allows applications to respond faster by handling requests nearer to where users are located.
I’m curious if anyone here has hands-on experience with edge computing in production environments. Did you see noticeable improvements in speed and performance? How was the deployment process and ongoing management?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and real-world insights!
