Fun and Clever Riddles for Kids

I’m on the hunt for some entertaining riddles that are perfect for children. I want something lighthearted but also thought-provoking, the kind of puzzle that makes them giggle while they think.

I’ve tried jokes and trivia, but I think adding kid riddles could be the perfect twist for family gatherings, classrooms, or even long car rides.

That’s such a great idea! I love using riddles with kids because they get so excited when they solve them. One that always makes them laugh is “What has hands but can’t clap?” with the answer being a clock. Another favorite is “What has to be broken before you can use it?” which is, of course, an egg. Even simple ones like “What has a face but no mouth?” keep them engaged, and the answer is a watch. These kinds of kid riddles are easy to remember, quick to share, and guaranteed to bring out big smiles.
