The migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 is hard to implement; it takes many steps. Here are the steps required to migrate from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.
  • Enable IMAP in Gmail.
  • Create users in Microsoft 365.
  • Prepare CSV with: EmailAddress,UserName,Password.
  • In Exchange Admin Center:
    • Go to Migration+ New Migration BatchIMAP.
    • Upload CSV.
    • Use imap.gmail.com, Port 993, SSL.
  • Update MX records to point to Microsoft 365.
  • Verify email delivery.
  • Delete batch after sync.
After applying these steps, there is still a change. You will not get the perfect data or lose complete data because manual steps are very difficult to apply and require technical expertise.
