I’m planning to book a morning desert safari tour soon and wanted to get some honest feedback from people who have already experienced it.
From what I’ve researched it seems like a great alternative to evening safaris especially if you want to avoid the intense heat and large crowds. The idea of starting the day early and heading out into the desert sounds really refreshing. I’ve seen that most tours include dune bashing camel riding and sandboarding which all look exciting. The sunrise views over the dunes also seem like a major highlight and probably one of the best times for photography.
However I still have a few questions before making a decision. For those who have tried a morning desert safari tour how was your overall experience Was the dune bashing too intense or suitable for beginners I’ve heard mixed opinions so I’m a bit unsure. Also is it worth paying extra for quad biking or is the standard package good enough on its own.
I’m also curious about the timing. How early does the pick up usually happen and do you feel it’s worth waking up that early for the experience Does the tour feel rushed since it only lasts a few hours or is it well paced.
Another thing I’d like to know is what you would recommend bringing along. Are there any small things that made your experience better or more comfortable.
